We’ve been around Akhnoor Road for a long time now. Most of the people around here know the Sawan Kutiz spot in Dumana where we are located. It is a pretty busy area but we like the energy. We handle travel stuff for people around Doda and Prem Vihar mostly. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time, like during holidays. My cousin and I started this just to help folks get from one place to another without too much trouble. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just the space here on the side of the road. It is simple. We spend a lot of our time on the phone checking schedules and talking to drivers. The roads around Jammu can be a bit tricky with the weather, so we try to stay updated on what is happening. If there is a delay or some construction, we usually hear about it pretty fast from the drivers. Folks stop by the office just to chat for a minute or ask about bus timings. We keep a ledger for all our bookings, nothing too high-tech or complicated. It works for us and our customers. Living in Jammu, you get used to the seasonal rush.
