We are based out of Gotha Bhata in Doda, and you can usually find us through Khalid Hussain. Doda is a rugged place, and that definitely affects how we do construction. It’s not like building in a flat city. Here, you have to deal with slopes and rocks all the time. K Khanji Construction Private Limited is a small team, and we’ve been working in this area for quite some time now. Our office is more of a meeting point where we organize our gear and talk about the day's tasks. We don't go in for big advertisements or polished presentations. We just show up at the site and get to work. Most of our time is spent outdoors, rain or shine. Doda can be harsh, but we are used to it by now. We know the local suppliers and where to get things moved when the roads are difficult. It’s a practical business. We handle a variety of construction jobs, and each one has its own set of problems to solve. We like the challenge of building in the mountains. Khalid Hussain is the main contact for us here. We don't use any corporate jargon. We just tell people what we can do and then we try to do it. It’s a straightforward way of living and working. We are just part of the local scenery here in Jammu and Kashmir, doing our jobs and making things happen.
