We are located right near the Bangalore Rural area, specifically by the Dod Ballapur railway station. Being so close to the tracks means we hear the trains rattling by all day and night, which is something you just get used to after a while. The traffic around the station can be a nightmare in the mornings, so we have to be really organized about when we schedule the trucks to come in for loading. This part of the outskirts is a mix of old farmland and new industrial sheds, so there is always a lot of dust in the air. Our day consists of managing the inventory and making sure the local distributors get their cement without too much of a delay. It is a lot of coordination, sometimes over the phone and sometimes just shouting across the yard. The weather in Bangalore is usually okay, but when it rains, the ground gets muddy and everything slows down to a crawl. We do not have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come to see us, you will likely find us near the loading bays with a clipboard in hand. We just do the work as it comes, handling the cement bags and the transport issues one by one. It is a straightforward business, and we prefer to keep it that way without adding any unnecessary layers of management or fancy talk.
