You can find us over near the Azzaro Resort & Spa in Diu. Our spot is in Fokra Fudam, which is pretty close to the Kohinoor Hotel. Voge Hondloom And Crafted is basically our workshop where we deal with hand-made textiles and local crafts. Diu is a nice place to work because the air feels different here, even if it gets really hot in the summer months. We spend a lot of time on the looms. It's slow work, and your back starts to ache after a few hours, but that's just part of the job. We don’t use big machines that make a lot of noise. It’s mostly just the sound of the wooden tools and maybe some music playing in the background. People staying at the nearby hotels sometimes wander over to see what we’re making. We don’t mind. It’s nice to show how the threads come together. The place isn't spotless; there’s always bits of yarn and dust on the floor, but we clean up when we can. We just focus on getting the patterns right. It’s a craft we’ve been doing for a while now, and we just keep at it day after day. It’s not about being the biggest shop in Diu, it’s just about making things that feel real and solid. If you’re walking past the resort, you’ll probably see us there. It's a quiet existence, but it keeps us busy and we like the work. We're just here doing our thing.
