We are located right at the B.O.C Charali area, near the 3 No. Police Point on Amlapatty Road. It’s a busy corner of Diphu. Our place is called YCWC. We do a lot of different things here depending on what people in the community need. It’s mostly about helping folks learn some skills or getting paperwork done. We have a few computers and some desks. The building isn't the newest, but it's central enough that everyone knows where it is. Sometimes it gets loud with the traffic from the police point, but you get used to it. We've been operating out of this spot for a while. It started as a small idea to provide some local services and it just grew from there. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just a few of us who manage the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time talking to people who come in with questions about various courses or registrations. The office is usually open early. We try to keep the place organized, though with all the files and people coming in, it can get a bit cluttered sometimes. We don't use any fancy management software; we just keep track of everything in our registers. It's a very local operation. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the people who live down Amlapatty Road. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done every day. We also help out with some basic computer repairs if someone is stuck with a virus or a slow machine. It's a bit of everything.
