Asim Das & Co.

Our place is over in Harija Baniyadih village. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't from around Nandina. We are part of the Dinhata police station area. Things move a bit slower out here than they do in the big towns or cities. Asim Das & Co. is basically just us working out of a small building near the main path. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly local business stuff. The village is quiet for the most part, except when it's market day and everyone comes out. We have been here for a long time. People in the village know us by name and stop to say hello. We don't really have a big office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of work to keep us occupied during the day. Sometimes the electricity goes out for hours and we have to sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s just part of living in Harija Baniyadih. We do our best to keep things moving along despite the small hurdles. There isn't any fancy equipment here, just the basics that we need to get through the daily tasks. Post-Nandina is where we get our mail, though not much comes through these days. We don't worry too much about being modern or having the latest things. We just focus on what needs to be done right now. If someone needs something, they usually just walk over. That's the way we like it.
