Digamber Traders

You can find Digamber Traders in Taluka Dindori, right beside the HDFC Bank on the main road. It is a busy spot because of the bank, so there are always bikes and cars parked everywhere. Sometimes it makes it hard for us to unload our goods, but we manage. Being on the main road means we see everyone passing by throughout the day. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and sweeping the front area. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and stacks of whatever we are trading that week. It gets dusty, but that is part of the job in Dindori. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is in its place. The tea stall nearby is where we usually get our breaks. We talk to the farmers and other shopkeepers who come around. The HDFC bank next door has a security guard we chat with sometimes when things are slow in the afternoon. It isn't a complicated business, just buying and selling and keeping track of who owes what in the books. We keep our ledgers on the table near the front door. If you come by in the afternoon, it's usually quieter because of the heat. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that clicks a bit while it spins. Digamber Traders is just a regular shop doing regular work on the Dindori main road. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of stock get a bit messy when we are busy. We just stay here until the bank closes and the street gets quiet.
