Alok Rice Mill

We are based at No-81, right near Koste Road in the Waraseoni Fci area. Being near the FCI means there is always a lot of activity involving grain and transport. You see the big trucks moving in and out all day long, and the dust from the road is just something we live with. The mill itself is a large structure where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when all the equipment is running at full capacity. We have a small crew, and everyone knows their job. Waraseoni is the kind of place where people recognize each other, and we’ve been part of this landscape for quite some time. The walk down Koste Road is familiar to us, and we know exactly which parts of the road get muddy when the monsoon hits. Inside the mill, the light comes in through the high windows, and there’s always a faint smell of husks in the air. We don't go in for fancy decorations or polished floors. The focus is strictly on the rice. We handle the bags, check the quality, and keep the machinery greased. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. But it’s a good kind of tired, knowing we’ve put in a full day at the mill near Koste Road. That is the way it has always been here.
