This location for Vks Farms is out in Palani, specifically at No. 110/3a and 114 in Athimrathuvalasu, Rajampatti Post. It’s a much more rural setting than our other offices, and it’s where the real work happens. We are surrounded by the landscape of Palani, and you can feel the difference in the air here. This is a working farm site, so there is always some kind of tractor noise or the sound of water being moved around. We have a couple of small buildings for storage and basic office work, but mostly we are outdoors. We deal with the day-to-day tasks of growing and maintaining the farm. It is a lot of hard work, and the sun can be really unforgiving in this part of the country. We don’t have fancy signs or a paved driveway. It’s all about the soil and the crops. Most of the people working here are from the local villages around Rajampatti. We know the land well and we work with the seasons. Sometimes the rains are late, and we all worry together. When the harvest is good, the whole place feels different. We aren't here to impress anyone with a big office; we are here to produce food and manage the land properly. It’s a quiet life in some ways, but there is always something that needs fixing or a field that needs tending. It’s honest, direct work that keeps us connected to the earth.
