Srinivasa Soda Company

Our place is over in Chinalapatti, right on Vasantham Nehar near the Chityapatti Piribu junction. It is a local spot where we have been making and selling soda for a while now. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it does what it needs to do. Most days, we are just busy filling up the glass bottles and getting the gas levels right. You can hear the hiss of the machines from the street if you are walking by. Chinalapatti gets quite warm during the day, so people often stop in when they are passing through the junction. We keep the crates stacked up high near the entrance. Sometimes the delivery van struggles to park because the road is narrow, but we manage somehow. It is just a handful of us working here. We don't have a big office or anything like that. We just have a desk with some old ledgers and a lot of empty bottles waiting to be cleaned. It’s a simple life and the work is steady. We see the same faces every week, mostly local shopkeepers coming to pick up their orders. We don't do anything special, just keep the soda cold and the bottles moving. The location is easy to find once you get to Vasantham Nehar. We’ve been here long enough that most people just point the way. It’s just us doing our thing every day without any fuss.
