Being up here in Kodaikanal is a bit different for a business like ours. Mannavnur is quiet, and Temple Street has its own rhythm. We run the foundry here, which is kind of a surprise to people who think this area is just for tourists. The air is cooler here than down in the plains, which helps when you're working near the furnaces. We have our hands full most days. It’s not a huge operation, but we keep things steady. The roads up here are winding, so getting supplies in takes some planning. You can't just expect a truck to show up whenever you want. We have to be smart about how we manage our stock. Our team is local, mostly folks from the nearby villages who don't mind the hard work. We don't have a big corporate lobby or receptionists in suits. It’s just the workshop and a small place to keep the paperwork. Sometimes the mist rolls in and you can hardly see the gate from the main door. It’s a strange place for an industrial setup, but it works for us. We've been at this address for a long time. There's no fancy marketing here, just us doing the daily tasks and making sure the foundry keeps running. It gets muddy during the monsoon, and we just put on our boots and get to it.
