R.P.G Foundation

We are based out in Kalarpatty, which is a small place in the Dindigul district. R.P.G Foundation started out with just a few of us who wanted to do something for the local community here. If you look at our address, it's listed under S/O P.Murugan. It is a very quiet area when you compare it to the big cities like Chennai. We don't have a massive office building or anything like that. Mostly, we are either out in the village or sitting in the small room we use for our weekly meetings. We focus on whatever the local needs seem to be at the time. Sometimes that means helping someone with a project or just organizing some basic help for the neighbors who are struggling. We aren't some big international foundation with millions of rupees in the bank account. We're just local folks from Dindigul trying to stay busy with something that feels useful to the people around us. The paperwork and the registration stuff actually take up a lot of our time, which is definitely the most boring part of the job. But we stay at it because it’s necessary. Most of the people living around here know us by their names anyway, so we don't need to explain much. We don't wear any uniforms or have big bright signs on the road. It’s just about being around and doing what we can with the little we have.
