Our place is at No. 61 Kulanthaivelan, and it’s usually quite a hub of activity. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the week, mostly sitting at our desks or moving boxes around the storage area. It’s not a very big office, but we make it work with what we have. Most days start with checking the logs and seeing what came in the day before. The street outside can get a bit loud during the afternoons, especially with the local traffic, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or decorations because we’re mostly focused on getting the paperwork done and making sure things get where they need to go. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to take a break, which is usually when someone goes out to grab tea for everyone. It’s a small group of us here, and we’ve all worked together long enough that we don’t need to say much to get things done. We keep the files stacked on the shelves and the inventory marked clearly so nobody gets confused. It’s just a regular job for us, really. We show up, handle the tasks, and lock up in the evening. There’s always something to organize or a phone call to make, so the hours go by pretty fast. It feels good to finish a busy day and head home knowing the work is done for now.
