Our office is on Muniyandi Kovil Street in Natham. It’s a small town in Tamil Nadu, and we are right there at number 7. It is a simple place to find if you know the area near the temple. We don't have a big corporate sign or anything flashy. Usually, someone is sitting out front or the door is just open to let the breeze in. It gets pretty hot here during the summer months, so we try to get most of our field work done early in the morning. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through our lists and talking to folks about land and projects. We've lived in this region for a long time, so we know the local landscape pretty well. It’s not a fast-paced environment like the big cities, but there is always plenty to do. We deal with a lot of local paperwork and meet with people who live just down the road. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or work by the windows. It’s a very grounded way of doing business. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to keep our records straight. Most of the people who come by are neighbors or friends of friends. We just take things one day at a time and focus on what needs to be handled right now.
