Poobathiammal Hospital

Poobathiammal Hospital is situated in Usilampatti on Peraiyur Road. We are right opposite the Telc School, so we hear the kids playing and the bells ringing all day long. It’s a lively part of Usilampatti to be in. We’ve been here for a good many years now. Most people find us just by looking for the school across the street. The hospital itself is a simple building. We don’t have much in the way of fancy lobbies or expensive furniture. It’s just a place for health care. We see a lot of people from the town and the surrounding villages. Sometimes the morning rush is a bit much but we get through it. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been around for ages. We know the shortcuts on Peraiyur Road and where to get the best tea nearby. We aren't trying to be the biggest hospital around, just a reliable one for the people who live here. The address is easy to find because of the school landmark. We keep our doors open and just do the work that needs doing. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road traffic and the wind, but we stay on top of the cleaning. Just a normal, everyday hospital in Usilampatti. We are just here doing our jobs day in and day out without much fuss, trying to help our neighbors stay healthy.
