Sandal Service

We are located on Pazhani Road. It is a long, busy road and there is always a lot of movement and noise right outside our front door. Sandal Service is not a huge operation, but we stay busy enough to keep the days moving fast. Most of our days are exactly the same, starting early in the morning before the sun gets too high and the air gets too hot. There are a lot of tools and different materials scattered around the shop floor. It is not the neatest place you will ever see, but we know where every single thing is kept. The smell of leather and glue is pretty strong when you first walk in, but after a few minutes, you do not even notice it anymore. We spend most of the day sitting on our small stools, working away at whatever is on the bench in front of us. People often stop by while they are walking down Pazhani Road to ask us questions or just to see what we are working on. The floor is a bit uneven and there is a spot near the back where the roof leaked once, leaving a dark stain on the wall. An old radio plays most of the day, mostly just for some background noise while we work. It is a simple life here, just doing the physical work and watching the traffic. We have been on this road for many years now.
