You can find our office on R.S. Road, right across from the Ganesh Theater. It’s a busy spot, which is actually good because if you can learn to drive around here, you can drive anywhere. We’ve got a couple of cars that we use for lessons, and they’ve definitely seen some wear and tear over the years. Teaching someone to drive requires a lot of patience, especially when they’re nervous and keep stalling the engine in the middle of traffic. We spend most of our day in the passenger seat, watching the road and making sure the student doesn't hit anything. The office is just a small room where we handle the license paperwork and schedule the next lessons. It’s usually got a fan going full blast because the Chennai heat is no joke. People from all over the area come to us, from young kids getting their first license to older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. We don't use any flashy simulators; we just get you behind the wheel and out on the road. It's a simple business, but it's important because everyone needs to get around safely. We just try to be honest with people about how many classes they really need before they're ready for the test. Every student is different, so we just take it one turn at a time until they get the hang of it.
