You can find Magi Store right along the East Coast Road in Thadikombu, at number 116. It’s a busy stretch of road, so we get a lot of people just passing through as well as the locals who live nearby. The shop isn't very big, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of goods inside. We have the usual groceries and daily essentials that everyone needs. I’m usually behind the counter most of the day, watching the traffic go by. It can get pretty loud with the buses and cars on the ECR, but you get used to it after a while. The shop is a bit old, and the shelves are a little crowded, but we try to keep things where people can find them. We don't have any employees, just us family members taking turns. It’s a long day, starting before the sun is fully up and finishing well after dark. Sometimes we run out of things because the delivery truck didn't show up on time, which is frustrating, but we deal with it. We don't have a big mission statement or any corporate goals. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure our neighbors can get what they need without traveling too far. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for years now. No fancy stuff, just the store and us working.
