About Madura Steel Industries Pvt. Ltd. – Metals & Minerals in Dindigul
Our factory is out in Chettinaickenpatty, near the Collectorate Post in Dindigul. Working with steel is heavy work. It gets very hot here, especially during the summer months when the sun is beating down on the roof. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor. There is always the sound of machinery and metal moving around. It’s not a quiet place to work. Most of the staff live nearby in the town. We’ve been operating in Dindigul for a long time. The office part is small because most of the action happens where the steel is being processed. We deal with various industrial steel products. It’s a lot of loading and unloading trucks. The roads around here are okay, but they get dusty when it hasn’t rained in a while. We keep a simple schedule. Start early before it gets too hot and finish up when the work is done for the day. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or a big lobby. Just a gate and the sheds where the work happens. Sometimes things get backed up, but we just work through it. It's steady work. People in the area know us as the steel plant near the government offices. It’s a practical setup for the kind of stuff we make. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The trucks come and go all morning.
