Aarus Exports

We are out here at Door No. 2/840-1 on Kathirampatti Road in Seelapadi Village. It’s a bit of a drive, especially being near the Madurai Airport. You can find us near the Peace Trust building. Aarus Exports is what we call the business. We deal with various items that need to go out to different places. Being so close to the airport is actually quite handy for us. The area around Seelapadi is still fairly quiet compared to the city center. We have a decent amount of space here, which we need for all the boxes and packing materials. It’s mostly just a few of us working in the warehouse area. It gets pretty hot in the middle of the day, so we usually start early. There isn't a lot of foot traffic out this way, so we mostly deal with trucks and deliveries. We’ve been set up here for a couple of years now. The building is simple, just concrete and tin, but it keeps the rain off the goods. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. People who need to find us usually know the way. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and checking lists. We just keep at it until the day is done. Sometimes we have a bit of a chat with the drivers while they are loading up. It’s just a regular workplace where things happen every day.
