Jayam Industrial Training Institute

We've been running Jayam Industrial Training Institute here in Dindigul for a while now. Most people know where we are, right in Rajalakshmi Nagar within the Sidco Industrial Estate area. It’s a busy spot but it makes sense for what we do. We mostly focus on teaching folks the technical stuff they need to actually get jobs in factories or workshops. It's not fancy here. There are some old machines and some newer ones, and the classrooms are pretty basic, but they get the job done. We spend a lot of time on practical things because that's what matters when you're out there working. The staff here are just regular people who know their trade. Sometimes it gets a bit loud because of the industrial estate noises nearby, but you get used to it. Students come from all over the local area to learn here. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk where we handle the paperwork and some chairs for visitors. If you walk down the street in Rajalakshmi Nagar, you can't miss the building. It’s a straightforward place where people come to pick up some real skills. We keep things simple because that's how we like it. The building has been here for years, and we just keep going day by day. It’s a decent place to be if you want to work with your hands and learn how things actually operate. Nothing more to it, really. We just open up in the morning and see what needs doing.
