We are set up at No 72/24 3 on Kamarajar Salai in the Munjikkal area of Kodaikanal. If you know where the EB office is, we are basically right opposite to it. Working up here in the hills is a bit different than the plains. The weather is usually nice and cool, which helps when we are stuck inside working on architectural drawings. Our office is a modest space, filled with pens, rulers, and a few computers that have seen better days. We don’t go for any of that high-end corporate look. It’s just a place to get things done. Being on Kamarajar Salai means we see a lot of people passing by, both locals and folks visiting the hills. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Munjikkal over the years. Sometimes it’s quiet, and sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with the tourist traffic. We just keep doing our work, drawing up plans and talking about buildings. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just know how to put a building together and we like doing it here in Kodaikanal. It’s a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it's sketching or just making sure there’s enough coffee to go around. It’s a pretty straightforward way to spend the day. If you’re ever near the EB office, you’ll probably see us through the window working away on some new project. It's just how we spend our time.
