We are situated at 19-A, Chokkalingam Nagar right on High School Road. You cannot miss it because of the school nearby and all the kids walking past in the mornings. It is a lively spot to be. The office is simple with some old wooden chairs and a calendar on the wall that we forget to flip sometimes. We handle sugar and that means things can get a bit sticky if we are not careful. It is a local operation and we know most of the people who come through the door. We do not have any big speeches to talk about. We just show up and do the work and then go home. High School Road is always busy with cycles and buses. Inside we just keep track of the bags and the orders. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic. Other days we are running around trying to keep up with everything. It is just how it goes in a small business like ours. We like being in Chokkalingam Nagar because it feels like home to us. There is no need for anything fancy when the basic stuff works just fine. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise of the school bells or the buses revving their engines right outside. The floor in here is a bit uneven so you have to watch your step. We keep a large jar of water with a steel cup for anyone who is thirsty. That is enough for us.
