Our office is over at 10 Vaniar Street in Melakottai, which is part of the Ambathurai area in Dindigul. It’s a fairly quiet street most of the time. We focus on exports, which means we’re often dealing with stuff that’s heading far away from here. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us working out of this space. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a reception desk. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see us at our desks surrounded by stacks of papers and maybe a few samples of what we’re shipping. Dindigul is a good place to be based. We’ve got a decent routine. We start the day checking on the status of containers and making sure the customs papers are ready. It’s not the most exciting work, but it needs to be done right. Sometimes there are delays at the port, and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone. That’s just part of the job. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work well and get home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a practical business run by people who live right here in the area. We know our neighbors and we like the local pace of life. It’s a simple, honest way to run a company without any big corporate talk involved.
