We are Ashok Food, and our place is at number 87, right near Idumban Hill in Palani. Being so close to the hill means we see a lot of people passing by, especially during the pilgrimage times. It’s a lively spot to be in. Our building isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we can get our work done. We started this years ago because there was a need for what we do in this part of Palani. It’s a family-run operation for the most part. We don't have a lot of rules or a corporate handbook. We just show up and do what needs to be done. Some days the heat is pretty intense, but the breeze from the hill helps a bit. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We just rely on the fact that people know our name and where to find us. We've lived in Palani our whole lives, so we know the area well. It’s a lot of work keeping things running, especially when the crowds are big. We don't make any grand claims about being the best. We just try to be consistent and honest in how we handle our business. Most of our days are spent checking supplies and making sure everything is ready for the customers. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy and we like the people we meet every day around the hill.
