Akshayam Computers

Our little shop, Akshayam Computers, is tucked away in Vairam Plaza, specifically at unit 139. We are right by the Naryana Iyar Waiting Hall, which most locals know well. If you’re heading towards the Aarchi Theater Road, you’ve probably passed us plenty of times without even realizing it. We mostly deal with computer repairs and parts, just the basic things people need every day. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit cluttered when we have a lot of machines in for repair. We aren't trying to be some big corporate chain or anything like that. It’s just us here, trying to make sure people’s laptops and desktops keep running. The area around the theater gets pretty crowded on weekends, but we keep our regular hours regardless of the noise outside. Sometimes the lighting in the plaza isn't the best, but we have our own lamps for the delicate work on circuit boards. We've been here for a good bit now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s a decent place to work, even if the parking out front is a bit of a nightmare during peak hours. Most of our regulars are folks from nearby who just want their stuff fixed without a lot of fuss. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website, just this shop and some tools. It is a simple living and we like it that way.
