Our shop, W7/93, is situated right near Awankha Road in the Gurdaspur district. It’s a local spot that serves the people living around this part of town. The area is quite traditional and the road can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just how it is here. We have been running things from this location for some time. It’s a basic shop without any of those big glass windows or bright lights you see in the city. We keep the things that people in the district need regularly. Most of our day is spent talking to folks who stop by while they are out running errands. Gurdaspur is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else, so a lot of our time is spent just catching up with neighbors. The shop is a bit cluttered, to be honest, but we know where everything is kept. Whether it’s supplies or small items for the home, we try to keep the shelves stocked. It’s a one-man or two-man job most days. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements; we just open the doors and see who comes in. The pace of life is slower here near Awankha Road. We take our time with the work and make sure things are done right. It’s a modest business and we are happy staying that way. Just a part of the local landscape in Gurdaspur.
