Sjb Biochem Organic Private Limited is based out of Buniadpur Sukdevpur. We are on the ground floor of Tapasi Biswas’s place, right near the Kushmandi primary school. You can often hear the kids playing and shouting during their recess while we are trying to work. It’s a nice sound to have in the background, honestly. We work on organic and biochemical stuff. It sounds complicated when you say it like that, but we try to keep our process as simple as possible. The office is pretty basic with just a few desks. We have a few tables and some equipment for testing our samples. We chose this location because it’s where we live and we wanted to stay close to our roots instead of moving away. We don’t use fancy jargon when we talk about our products with the locals. If it works, it works, and that's what matters. We spend our mornings checking on our supplies and the afternoons doing a lot of paperwork. Sometimes we have to travel to nearby farms to see how things are going with the soil. It’s not a glamorous job. We get our hands dirty quite often and the floors usually have some dust on them. We aren't interested in being some high-tech lab with white coats. We just want to make organic options available to people around here. It’s a small team, mostly people we have known for years. We trust each other and we know the work needs to be done right.
