We are located in J Khanpur, which is a small village near Balurghat in Dakshin Dinajpur. Our office is at House Number 353, right in the middle of the community. Iesm Futurebuild Private Limited is a small outfit. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We focus on building things for the local area. Being out here in Khanpur means we know everyone around us. It’s a quiet place, but we keep busy. We usually start our day early before the sun gets too high. There’s a lot of back-and-forth between the village and the main town of Balurghat for materials. We don't have a professional secretary; usually, whoever is closest to the phone picks it up. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. People see what we’re doing and then they ask us to help them with their own projects. We don’t have a big fleet of trucks, just what we need to get the job done. Sometimes we have to wait a while for deliveries because we’re a bit far out, but we make it work. It’s a practical way of living and working. We aren't interested in being fancy. We just want to make sure the walls are straight and the roofs don't leak.
