We operate our micro services foundation right out of Charu Roy’s home. It is a very humble setup, nothing like the offices you see in Kolkata. We don't have a marketing department or a polished website. We just have a desk and some papers and the local people we work with every day. In South Dinajpur, everyone knows everyone, so we don't need to do much advertising. We just focus on our day-to-day tasks. The foundation is something we care about, but we don't feel the need to use big, fancy words to describe it. It’s just practical work that helps the community in Badalpur. Sometimes we spend the whole day just talking to people who come by the house in Vior. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the area, but we like the quiet of Banshihari. We are just local residents trying to run a foundation that makes sense for our neighbors. It’s simple, honest work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything else.
