Jumping Bean Cafe

We have been here on Circular Road for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Dimapur, right near the DDSC Stadium. Most days start with us unlocking the doors and getting the machines warmed up before the sun gets too high. You can hear the traffic outside and sometimes the noise from the stadium when there is a game or practice going on. The cafe isn't anything too fancy. We have chairs that have seen a lot of use and tables that we wipe down a dozen times a day. People come in from the road to sit for a bit, maybe escape the humidity for a few minutes. We mostly just focus on making sure the coffee is hot and the food is ready when someone asks for it. It gets a bit dusty because of the road works nearby, but we try to keep it tidy. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just how things are here, and we have to manage with what we’ve got. We know the regulars who walk past every morning. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who show up and do the work. It’s a simple routine of grinding beans, washing cups, and chatting with whoever walks through the door. There’s no big secret to what we do here. We just run Jumping Bean Cafe as best as we can every day.
