Things move a bit differently here in Dimapur. Our office is over at House No. 430 in the Taxes Colony, Lingrijaan area. If you’ve ever been to this part of Nagaland, you know the terrain can be a bit of a challenge for any construction project. We spend a lot of our time out at sites, checking on how the foundation is coming along or if the materials arrived like they were supposed to. The roads can get pretty muddy when it rains, which happens quite often around here. We at Devika Construction & Developers Pvt. Ltd are just a small team of people trying to build things that actually last. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks and a lot of rolled-up blueprints that have seen better days. We don't have some grand vision we talk about in meetings. Mostly, we just talk about where to get the best gravel or how to handle a site that’s on a steep slope. It’s hard work, and your boots are always dirty at the end of the shift. We know the local people here, and they know us. We don't do big TV ads or anything like that. If a wall needs building or a house needs finishing, we get it done. It’s a practical business. We’ve had our ups and downs like anyone else in the trade, but we’re still here in Dimapur doing what we do every day. It’s just us, working through the rain.
