Tour&travels

Our office is a small room in Prathap Nagar, right here in the Amberpet area. It’s not much to look at, just a couple of desks, some plastic chairs, and a landline phone that rings quite a lot. We help people figure out their travel plans, whether they need to book a seat on a private bus or find a car for a trip out of the city. We don't use any fancy software or have big glossy pictures of holidays on the walls. Most of the time, we are just looking at bus schedules or calling up drivers we know to see if they are available for a trip. It can get a bit hectic when someone’s travel plans change at the last minute and we have to find a new way for them to reach their destination. The office is right by the main road, so the sound of horns and traffic is always there in the background. We usually have a small calendar on the wall where we mark down all the bookings with a pen. If the internet goes down, we just rely on our notebooks and our memory. We know most of the people who live in this part of Amberpet, and they come to us because they prefer talking to someone in person. We spend our afternoons drinking tea and waiting for the next person to walk in with a question about a journey.
