Sri S V Digital Prints

Sri S V Digital Prints is on the first floor at 9-61. We are right above the Iyengar Bakery in the Konark Theatre Lane. Being in Lalitha Nagar in Dilsukhnagar means it's always crowded and there's a lot of energy. You can usually smell the fresh bread and cakes from the bakery downstairs all day long. The stairs leading up here are a bit narrow and steep so you have to be careful. Inside the shop, we have the printing machines lined up against the wall. They take up a lot of space and they generate a good amount of heat. We have stacks of different kinds of paper everywhere. Some are glossy and some are plain white. There’s always a pile of scrap paper in the bin by the cutter. The windows look out over the lane and we can see people heading toward the theater. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shout a little to be heard. We have a couple of plastic chairs for people to use while they wait for their prints to finish. The ink smells a bit strong when we are doing a big job. We keep a calendar on the wall with some notes scribbled on it. It’s just a working space where we spend most of our hours handling paper and checking files. It gets a bit messy by Friday. We use a small broom to sweep up the paper bits every evening.
