Cogent

Cogent is located in Radhanagar, right on the Manga Sanga Road. We’re very close to the Puliya. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always the sound of horns and bikes passing by. We do a bit of everything here, mostly related to local business services and paperwork. People come to us when they need help with documents or when they’re trying to figure out some local regulations. The office is pretty basic. We have some old computers and a printer that jams more often than it should. I’ve been working out of this spot for several years now. I like being near the bridge because it’s a landmark everyone knows. If someone asks where we are, I just tell them "near the puliya" and they find it. We don't have any corporate slogans. We just try to get the tasks done so people can go about their day. Some mornings I spend more time talking to the tea stall guy next door than I do at my desk. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We see the same faces every day. The rain sometimes floods the road a bit, which slows things down, but we just wait it out. It’s not a fast-paced environment, but we stay steady. We don't have a big team, just me and a helper who comes in three times a week. It isn't a fancy setup, but it works for what we need.
