Laxmi Narasimha Travels

Laxmi Narasimha Travels is based out of 2-51 Kalwa Dilawarpur. It is not a big fancy office with a glass front. Mostly, it is just a place where we keep the keys and wait for the phone to ring. I spend a lot of my time looking at the road and checking the tires on the vehicles. Dilawarpur is a quiet area, so we know most of the people who call us for a ride. Sometimes it is for a wedding, and other times it is just someone needing to get to the next town for a doctor's visit. The cars are not brand new, but I try my best to keep the seats clean and the engines running smooth. I often wake up at four in the morning to get things ready for an early trip. My wife helps me keep track of the bookings in a small diary she keeps by the window. There are days when the phone does not ring at all, and I just sit on the bench outside and talk to the neighbors. Then there are days when everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. It is a bit unpredictable, I guess. I do not have a big staff or a fleet of hundreds of cars. It is just a local transport service run from our home. We just try to be on time and get people where they need to go without any fuss.
