Diamond Traders

If you go down Aarni Road and head behind the Lohar Line, you will find us near the Ghantibaba Temple. Diamond Traders has been in this spot for a long time. It’s a traditional area, and we like the feeling of being near the temple. The streets are a bit narrow, so parking can be a real headache for anyone visiting, but we manage. We aren't actually selling diamonds; the name is just something that stuck from years ago when my family had different ideas. We trade in various goods that the local community needs for their homes and shops. Our store is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes, and only we really know where everything is kept. It’s a family-run business, so you’ll usually see one of us sitting at the front counter drinking tea. We don't have a big staff or a fancy management system. We just treat people fairly and hope they come back. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit on the bench outside and talk to the neighbors until it comes back on. It’s a simple life here in this part of town. We don't bother with big advertisements or anything like that. People know us by our name and our location near the temple. We just try to be helpful and keep the business going as best as we can.
