Raja Coffee

If you come down to Nandigram, you’ll find us right near the Nandigram Bus Stand. It’s a busy spot with buses coming in from Purba Midnapur all day long. Raja Coffee is just a small place where things are always moving. You can hear the conductors shouting out destinations while we work. The dust from the road gets in sometimes, but that’s just part of being near the transport hub. We have a lot of people stopping by just because they’re waiting for their next ride. The village post is close too, so it’s a central part of the neighborhood. We don’t have fancy signs or big lights. Just a regular door and some bags of coffee sitting around. The weather here in this part of the district gets really humid, so the fans are always going. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it's quiet. Most of the locals know where we are because they pass the bus stand every morning. We’ve been here for a good while and haven't felt the need to move. It’s convenient for getting supplies in and out since the transport is right there. It’s a simple operation really. No office staff, just us handling the coffee and talking to whoever walks in. It gets loud during the festival times when the crowds get bigger. We just keep the doors open and stay busy and make sure the coffee is ready for whoever comes through the door.
