Shree Goru Baba Building Material

Our shop is right there in Village Mithri, and if you know Nagaur, you know it gets pretty dusty around here. Being near the Shiv Mandir means we hear the bells every morning when we open up. It is just a small place, really. We spend most of the day moving piles of bricks or checking on the cement bags to make sure they haven't gotten damp from a stray leak in the roof. Sometimes the trucks don't arrive on time because the roads are a bit rough, but that's just how it goes in this part of the country. My cousin helps me out usually, and we sit on the wooden stools outside when things are quiet. People from the village stop by not just for building stuff, but sometimes just to tell us about their day or how their house is coming along. It's not a fancy setup at Shree Goru Baba Building Material, just some walls and a lot of heavy lifting. We don’t have a big office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just the sun, the wind, and the smell of dry earth. Nagaur heat can be something else in the summer, so we try to get the heavy work done before noon. After that, it’s mostly just waiting for someone to drop by with a tractor. We've been at this for a while now, and the temple is a good landmark for people who get lost trying to find us. It is a simple life.
