We’ve been here on Talkie House Road for a good while now. Most folks in Jhalukpara know where to find us. It’s a busy little spot in Dibrugarh, and there is always something going on outside. I started Vineet Thard Travel Agency because I liked talking to people about where they were going and helping them figure out the best way to get there. It’s not a big fancy office, just a simple place to get your tickets sorted without a lot of fuss. Sometimes the internet is confusing for people, or they just don't trust the websites, so they walk in to talk to a real person. We handle train bookings and flights, and sometimes bus tickets too. It gets a bit loud outside with the traffic and people heading to the shops, but that’s just how it is around here. I usually sit at the main desk with my notebooks. If I’m out for a bit, someone else will help you out with the schedules. We try to keep things as straightforward as possible. No one wants to spend all day looking at a screen. You tell us where you need to be, and we look at the timings to find what works. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, especially with how things keep changing, but we manage. My family has lived in Dibrugarh for years, so we know the local routes well. We don’t do anything too fancy, just basic travel help. It’s nice to see familiar faces coming back after their trips to tell us how it went. If you are passing near the old talkie house, you can just stop by. We usually have the door open.
