Up here in Dibrugarh, we have our office located near the Muhanbari area. If you are looking for where we work, we are out towards the P.S. Dibrugarh side of things. It is a bit of a distance from the main city center, but it works well for the cement business. We are in a simple building that does not really stand out from the other houses and shops on the road. Most of what we do here at Vinay Cements involves coordinating shipments and keeping track of the inventory across the state. It is not a very glamorous job, to be honest. The office has the basic stuff like wooden tables, some old metal cabinets, and a few computers that have seen better days. We do not have a lot of walk-in traffic because of where we are located on the map. Most of our communication is done over the phone or through the mail. The pace of life here in Assam is a bit different, and we have tried to match that in how we run our daily operations. We are not in a big rush to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the work is done properly. The weather can be a bit of a challenge, especially during the heavy monsoon rains, but we manage to keep the office running. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait.
