Our office is over in Flat 4B of the Kabyashree Paradise Apartment. It’s on T.R. Phookan Road in the Chowkidinghee area. Being in an apartment block makes it a bit different than having a storefront, but it’s quiet enough to get things done. Block B is where we spend most of our hours. Chowkidinghee is a busy enough place, and the road outside always has something going on. We do a lot of planning and numbers here before we head out to the actual sites. It’s mostly just us sitting around a table with tea, looking at drawings and talking to contractors. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a place where we keep our records and meet people when they have questions about their building projects. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. We've been in this spot for a bit now and it suits what we need. It's close enough to the main parts of town that getting supplies isn't too much of a headache. Most of the time we are out on site anyway, so the flat is mostly for the paperwork that piles up. Construction is a lot of paper and even more dust. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. Our neighbors in the building are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down when we’re in the office. We just stay focused on the builds.
