Udh Mukhi Foundation

Our foundation is based at Jotin Dutta’s place in Tallpotiagaon. It’s a small village setup, and that suits us just fine. We aren't looking for a big city office because the work we do is right here with the people in the village. The address is 785101, which covers our little corner of the world. We’ve known Jotin for a long time, and his home has become the hub for everything we do. We focus on local issues, things that matter to the farmers and the families living around here. It’s not a complicated setup. We meet in the evenings mostly, after everyone is done with their daily chores. There isn't a lot of money involved, just a lot of effort and time from the volunteers. We try to improve things slowly, one day at a time. Whether it’s helping with a local school issue or talking about better ways to manage the land, we just stay involved. Tallpotiagaon is where our roots are. We don't have any grand plans to expand everywhere. We just want to make sure our own neighborhood is doing okay. It’s a very personal way of running things. No big logos or corporate talk here. Just people talking to people and trying to be useful. It’s a bit informal, but we get things done when they need doing. We don't need fancy things to help our neighbors.
