This is Singlo Suffry Tea Estate Llp. Like some others, we operate from the Amba Complex over on H S Road. It is a practical spot for an office because it puts us right in the middle of the local commerce area. Our day starts with opening up the shutters and letting some air into the office. The H S Road area is usually waking up around that time too. We handle the management side of the tea estate from here. There is always a lot to keep track of, from the weather patterns to the harvest timings. We aren't a big corporate entity with glass walls. Our office has regular wooden desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down notes in our big registers. It’s the kind of place where you come in, sit down, and get through the pile of work on the desk. Sometimes local growers stop by to chat or drop off messages. We keep things simple and functional. There is no need for anything fancy when you are dealing with the soil and the plants. We just make sure the logistics are handled and the estate runs as it should. It is a steady existence, focused on the seasons and the crop. That is how things go for us every week. We just keep our heads down and do what is needed for the estate.
