We are located in Tingrai, over in Dibrugarh. If you are looking for us, we are at the Chariali spot, specifically at Godadhar Sharma’s place. It is a local house that serves as our base for the foundation. We have been focusing on school-related work for the community here for a while now. It is not a big institution with hundreds of employees or anything like that. It is just a handful of us trying to make things a little better for the local schools and students. Dibrugarh is a nice area, and being in Tingrai keeps us close to the families we work with every day. We spend a lot of time visiting different schools and talking to teachers about what they need. Sometimes we are just delivering basic supplies, other times we are helping them sort through their paperwork. It is a bit of everything. We do not have a polished website or a fancy office with a view. Most of our meetings happen over tea in the kitchen or out in the yard if the weather is nice. It is very informal. We like it that way because people feel more comfortable coming to us with their problems or questions. We have known Godadhar for years, so using his place felt like the natural thing to do. The work can be tiring, but we keep at it.
