Sankardev Global Association

Sankardev Global Association is based at Kasturi Bhawan, which is on the second floor over on Borpatra Ali. We share the space with Dr. Devi Charan Thakur’s setup. It is a familiar spot for many people in the area. We don't have a big flashing sign or a fancy entrance. You just walk up the stairs and find us there. The office is often filled with the sound of people talking or the rustle of papers. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek corporate look. Our focus is on the community and the association's goals. Borpatra Ali is a busy street, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We've been in this building for some time, and it has become a bit of a second home for us. We drink a lot of tea while we work and sometimes the discussions go on quite late into the evening. It’s not a 9-to-5 sort of place where everyone rushes out the door at the stroke of five. We stay until the job is finished. We don't talk in marketing slogans or try to sell ourselves. We just do the work that needs to be done. The furniture is a bit mismatched and the lighting could be better, but it’s a functional space where real things happen. We like the fact that people feel comfortable just dropping in without an appointment to talk to us.
