Brahmaputra Valley Fertiliser Corporation Limited

We are over here in Namrup, right in the Dibrugarh district. People mostly know us as Brahmaputra Valley Fertiliser Corporation Limited, or just the fertilizer plant. It is a pretty big place out here in the Parbatpur area. We have been working with fertilizers for a long time now. The factory stays busy most days and nights. You can see the tall structures from quite a distance when you are coming down the road. It gets really humid here in this part of Assam, but the work keeps going regardless of the weather. We handle a lot of the urea production that farmers around here and further away need for their crops. There are many people from the local colony who walk or cycle over to work inside the gates. It isn't a fancy office setup at all; it is more of an industrial site with lots of pipes, tanks, and big machinery. Sometimes things get a bit loud with the steam and the engines, but that is just how a factory like this is. We just try to get the bags filled and sent out on the trucks every single day. The weather can be a bit of a challenge during the monsoon months when it pours down, but we manage to stay on track. Most of us have lived in this area for years, so we are used to the quiet pace of the town. Our facility stays active around the clock, though. We just focus on the production lines.
