Northeast Earthmovers

We are set up at the National Highway Point in Cachar, right near the City College. It is a good spot because the big machines we work on need a lot of space and easy access to the main road. Northeast Earthmovers is mostly a yard full of yellow excavators and backhoes that are usually covered in mud. We spend a lot of our time out in the open air, regardless of whether it is scorching hot or pouring rain. Cachar gets a lot of weather, so we are used to working in the muck. The noise from the highway is constant, with trucks and buses zooming past just a few meters from where we stand. Inside our shed, we have a bunch of heavy tools and spare parts hanging on the walls. It is a messy business fixing earthmoving equipment, so there are oil spills and dirt everywhere you look. We aren't the type of people who sit at desks; we are usually under a machine with a wrench in hand. Students from the college walk past our gate every day, and they probably wonder about all the clanking and shouting coming from our yard. We don't have any fancy signs or a reception area. If you need us, you just walk into the yard and look for someone wearing a stained jumpsuit. We just keep the machines moving so the construction jobs around here can finish.
