We’re over on Mohal Road in Naharkatia, which is part of the Dibrugarh district here in Assam. Ajit Saikia handles a lot of the day-to-day stuff at our place. It’s pretty quiet out here usually. We spend our time working on education things mostly. Sometimes it gets busy when people drop by, but we like it that way. Most of the folks around here know where to find us. We don’t have any fancy offices or anything like that, just a regular spot where we get things done. It’s been a bit of a journey setting this up and making sure we stay helpful to the community. People often ask what we actually do on a Tuesday morning, and mostly it’s just paperwork and talking to neighbors. We try to keep things simple because that works best for everyone involved. Being in a place like Naharkatia means you know everyone by name eventually. It’s nice to have a base here where we can actually see the results of what we're trying to do. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get around, but we still manage to keep the doors open. If you’re ever walking down Mohal Road, you’ll see our sign. It isn't anything flashy, just a plain board. We aren't trying to change the whole world at once, just doing what we can from this corner of Dibrugarh. It can be a little slow some weeks, but we don't mind that at all.
