Madhusudan Travels

Madhusudan Travels is located on Station Road in Duliajan. We’re right near the ICICI Bank, so we’re pretty easy to find if you’re in that part of town. We’ve been running this for a while now. A lot of our work is helping people get from here to places like Shillong. It’s a long road, but we know it well and we have the right vehicles for it. We have a few cars and buses that go back and forth regularly. It’s not just about selling a seat; it’s about making sure the whole trip isn’t a headache for the passengers. I spend most of my time at the front desk taking calls and writing names down. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing all morning. We handle local trips around Dibrugarh too. People often come in just to ask about timings and prices. We don't have a website with all the bells and whistles, just a big ledger and some schedules tacked on the wall. The office is small and usually has a few people waiting around for their ride. We keep a teapot going most of the day because people like to chat. It’s a practical business. We know our drivers and we know which cars are running the best. If a trip is delayed because of the roads, we tell people straight. No point in making things up. We serve a lot of regular commuters and some tourists who are passing through. Duliajan is a small town, so we just try to be honest and get the job done right.
